Marshall Leasing half-year profits up

Marshall Leasing has reported a 5.8% increase in half-year pre-tax profit, making £2.7m from 1 January to 30 June.

The company, ranked 27 in the BusinessCar BC50 list of the top UK leasing firms, reported a total fleet of 6077 vehicles, 3.1% up on the 5897 figure reported at the end of June 2015, including what it described as "a number of new clients".

The company has £66.6m of vehicle value on its books, up £7.0m on June 2015, and the results revealed Marshall Leasing has no single customer representing more than 11% of its fleet, and the top 10 customers constitute 43%.
