New head of fuel cards appointed at BP

Date: 28 June 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

BP has appointed Andy Allen as its new head of fuel cards, replacing Naftali Gefen.

Before moving across to the fuel card division, Allen worked as commercial airline marketing strategy manager at Air BP.

BP claims its fuel cards give customers access to the UK's largest branded network, with 1200 sites across the country.

As part of his new role, Allen will be responsible for all sales activities, customer management and engagement and building on relationships with existing clients.

"I'm really thrilled to have taken charge of BP's very successful fuel cards business. Our branded network includes more than 1200 sites and fuel cards will play a key role in growing this network over the next few years," Allen said.  "My team and I will ensure our customers continue to get the best fuel products and services for their business."

BP currently provides its fuel cards to 40,000 customers across the country.
