New wifi-connected dash cam launched

Date: 30 March 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Dash cam maker Nextbase has launched its latest camera, which boasts wifi connectivity.

Priced at £99, the 312GW features a 2.7-inch screen and built-in wifi, allowing users to share footage instantly via a smartphone app.

The new camera also features a magnetic mount, allowing users to remove the camera quickly.

"Thanks to the in-built Wi-Fi on the 312GW, quickly sharing footage has never been easier. Increasingly, users of our cameras want to share their footage quickly, whether that be to their insurer to prove an accident was not their fault, or to showcase something interesting they saw to their friends, family or social media," said Richard Browning, director at Nextbase.
