Chargepoint provider Pod Point has been selected as Volkswagen's recommended supplier of charging stations.
Buyers of VW's electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles will have access to Pod Point's installation services and chargepoints, with the company helping to install points at the customer's workplace. Pod Point will also liaise with companies to highlight the benefits that electric vehicles can bring to the organisation.
The charging point company has also partnered with carbon-offsetting company Carbon Footprint to offset 5000 miles of electricity for each homecharger.
As well as VW, Pod Point is the recommended supplier of charging points to Volvo, as announced last week.
