Q-Park launches parking salary sacrifice scheme

Date: 06 January 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Parking provider Q-Park has launched a salary sacrifice scheme for a car parking pass, in partnership with accountancy firm Mazers.

Employers that allow workers to ultilise salary sacrifice schemes to fund season passes benefit from a drop in National Insurance payments, while employees save NI and tax contributions on the amount sacrificed.

Q-Park said that season ticket holders will also save 50% off the standard tariff charge.

"Our new salary sacrifice car parking initiative offers employers a total solution - ideal for employers who want to enhance their staff benefits as well as creating significant employment cost savings," John Denton, head of marketing and sales at Q-Park UK said.

"Unlike other salary sacrifice car parking schemes in the marketplace, ours allows employers to deal directly with the parking provider."
