Renault adds racking kits to Kangoo options list

Date: 05 August 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Renault has added its 'Ready4Work' racking and storage package to the options list for its Kangoo van.
The introduction of the storage package follows on from the additions to the larger Trafic and Master van ranges. Renault said the racking is installed into a customer's van before delivery, and stops owners having to wait while their vehicle is fitted out.
Two versions are offered for the Kangoo and the Kangoo ZE electric LCV. Kit 1 is aimed at tradesman and is designed to provide an economical solution that offers storage for tools, parts and accessories, while Kit 2 is aimed at those who require storage for service equipment.
Priced from £1150 including VAT, the kits are available to order now and can be included in the van's finance package, while Renault confirmed the kits are covered by the same four-year/100,000 mile warranty that comes as standard with the vehicles.
"Ready4Work racking adds to the versatility of the Renault Kangoo, while at the same time offering customers an efficient and cost-effective way to fit out the back of their van with a quality storage solution that meets their needs," said Steve Wilson, LCV product manager at Renault. "By opting for either Ready4Work racking kit, Renault Kangoo customers aren't losing revenue while their new vehicle is being prepared and they are also safe in the knowledge that the equipment they have invested in is covered by one of the most impressive warranties around."
