Renault has confirmed that its Megane Sport Tourer will cost from £18,550 when it goes on sale next month.
From launch, four engines will be offered: a 110hp 1.5-litre diesel that emits 96g/km of CO2, a 130hp 1.6-litre diesel (104g/km), a 130hp 1.2-litre petrol unit (120g/km), and a 205hp 1.6-litre petrol engine (134g/km).
Six trim levels are available: Expression+, Dynamique, Dynamique S, Signature, GT Line and GT.
Standard kit on the Expression+ trim level includes LED daytime running lights, a leather steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, a DAB radio and an aux input.
Dynamique adds Renault's active safety system suite (which provides lane departure warning information), traffic sign recognition software, and a seven-inch touchscreen, incorporating a satnav.
Dynamique S includes a larger 8.7-inch screen, parking sensors and a rear parking camera, while the top-of-the-range Signature trim features black leather upholstery.
Renault said the GT Line trim level aims to provide a more sporty appearance. Based on the Dynamique trim, it adds different alloy wheels and a larger front air intake.
GT - visually based on GT Line - incorporates the company's four-wheel steering, which allow the front and rear wheels to turn in opposite directions at speeds of up to 50mph for greater manoeuvrability, while the Renaultsport-developed trim level also includes a launch control function, which uses the car's electronics systems to manage getaways.
