Tyre fitters take on 100 Renault Master vans

Date: 18 May 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Micheldever Tyre and Auto Services - the parent company of fast-fitters, Protyre - has taken on 100 Renault Master panel vans in a new fleet deal.

This means that Renault vehicles now make up the majority of the tyre network's van fleet.

The vans will be used in the company's wholesale tyre distribution operation and its mobile tyre fitting service.

The long-wheelbase, high-roof Masters were chosen over rival vehicles due their payload, value for money and warranty, Micheldever Tyre and Auto Services claimed.

"Against the other LCVs we considered, the Renault Master was unrivalled when it came to its combination of price and payload," said Malcolm Turnbull, group fleet manager at Micheldever Tyre and Auto Services.

"The vans we have taken delivery of have arrived with us on schedule and, now that they are starting to be operative in the field, are exceeding our expectations and generating some good feedback from our drivers," he added.
