Van Excellence members ARI, ATS Euromaster, Bott, Hertz Van Rental, Lex Autolease and TomTom Telematics have all been awarded 'gold' statues in recognition of their support of the Freight Transport Association scheme.
The companies were awarded golden plaques at a Van Excellence briefing held by the FTA in Nottingham last week.
High on the agenda at this years' briefings was an analysis of the way drivers' actions can affect fleet operations the possible serious ramifications of something going wrong, and how putting the correct strategies and processes in place can improve the way drivers work and the image of the van driver in the UK.
Another briefing will take place in Glasgow on 14 April, and the winners of bronze and silver partnership grades will be announced later this year.
