Vauxhall offers industry-first fleet servicing plan

Date: 22 April 2016   |   Author:

Vauxhall has added to its fleet aftersales offering by introducing an industry-first servicing plan and warranty for fleets.

Administered by EMaC, the fleet service plans introduce standard service pricing for fleets, with companies able to pay a single payment to cover servicing costs for cars and commercial vehicles across the Vauxhall range. Routine servicing, brake fluid changes and cambelt changes are covered in line with Vauxhall recommended schedules.

Fleet vehicles can be serviced at any Vauxhall retailer improving flexibility for drivers and fleet managers, while advance payment means that drivers are free from on-the-day approvals and credit card payments.

Vauxhall's fleet warranty offering, meanwhile - administered by Allianz Global Assistance - covers the cost of mechanical and electrical repairs and is available with a number of durations and mileage limits,. Available for cars and vans, this service covers the cost of parts and labour up to a limit of five years and 150,000 miles. Most mechanical and electrical parts are covered, with no excess to pay.

The fleet warranty also includes replacement vehicle rental costing up to £50 plus VAT per day in the event that a valid repair is needed, with 'a contribution' to overnight accommodation or onward travel if necessary as a result of certain electrical or mechanical failures.

The warranty additionally includes 60 days' worth of continental European cover.
