The start point for the best source of fleet information

Virtual Handovers launched for Alphabet LCVs

Date: 15 September 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Leasing company Alphabet has expanded its Virtual Handover service to include LCVs.

The service provides fleet managers and drivers with a video guide to their new vehicle sent two weeks before the delivery, allowing the customer to famillarise themselves with the van before it arrives.

Meanwhile, converted and customised vans supplied by Tevo contain QR codes which will point to a specific video guide of the van's conversion.

"When we launched Virtual Handover for LCVs we knew that we didn't want to simply replicate what we've done for company cars. So we listened to our LCV customers who told us that one of their key challenges with bespoke, customised commercial vehicles was that these vehicles could be driven and used by a different employee every single day. They're not just transportation - these vehicles are highly specialised, highly equipped mobile places of business," said Simon Simmons, supplier relationship manager for Alphabet.
