VW upgrades Polo, Golf and Passat models for 2016

Volkswagen is introducing a raft of interior upgrades to its Polo, Golf, Passat models. All vehicles are available to order now, with deliveries beginning early this year.

In the Polo Match specification replaces the SE trim, adding more than £900 worth of extra equipment, including cruise control, front and rear parking sensors and 15-inch alloy wheels. The new model carries a £100 price hike over the outgoing model.

Meanwhile, GT Edition replaces GT trim level in the Golf. It gains £1795 worth of equipment, including 18-inch wheels and a sunroof, and costs £300 more than its forbearer.

Volkswagen has upgraded SE Business trim in the Passat, while removing  SE spec. New equipment includes electric folding door mirrors, tinted rear windows and the firm's 'Discover' satnav. The upgraded model costs £100 more than the discontinued SE models.
