Arval launches consolidated fleet solution

Leasing company Arval has introduced an online reporting platform for customers that use more than one leasing company.
Called Total Fleet, the platform is hosted by an unnamed third-party company to provide fleet managers with a consolidated view of their fleet's performance.
The leasing giant said the new platform "will free Arval's clients working with multi-supply schemes from the burden of having to aggregate data from multiple sources".
According to Arval, other leasing companies will only be able to access Total Fleet directly to upload fleet data after a customer has given permission to do so.
Following the upload, the data will only be accessible to customers and neither Arval nor other leasing companies will be able to view the information.
Managers will be able to view four main areas on the platform:
- Fleet: active vehicles, deliveries, returns and planned returns?
- Spend: total, in-contract, out-of-contract and end-of-contract spend
- Usage: the evolution of contract terms, fleet usage and contract deviations
- Corporate Social Responsibility: CO2 emissions and carbon footprint
"Arval believes that, ultimately, clients would benefit from a single market solution and accordingly remains keen to open discussions with other leasing companies for positioning the platform as an industry shared solution," said Philippe Bismut, Arval CEO.
