Avis Car Rental expands concierge service

Avis Car Rental has expanded its popular Avis Travel Partner service in the UK to offer tailored car rental support for Chinese travellers.
Avis Travel Partner is a new optional concierge service, added at the booking stage, that provides 24/7 native language travel assistance for Avis rental customers.
The new service has been launched in response to growing inbound tourism to the UK from China and an increase in visitors seeking out independent travel experiences. The latest official statistics from VisitBritain show a record 54,000 visits from China to the UK in the first quarter of 2017 - up 27% on the same period last year.
Avis Travel Partner provides a 24/7 translation service via phone or email, a lost property service and a directory of local services including restaurants, hotels and other points of interest.

Avis Travel Partner is available for rentals of up to ten days at a rate of £8.99 a day. It can be purchased online, via the app or in person at the rental stations at all UK airports, central London locations, and participating locations across Europe. The translation service is also available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
