VW Group has chosen BCA Fleet Solutions as its long-term de-fleet and refurbishment partner.
The agreement includes the construction of a new dedicated De-Fleet Centre for the VW Group in Corby, Northamptonshire.
The Corby De-Fleet Centre will be the first purpose-built, large-scale, dedicated de-fleet and refurbishment facility to be built for many years and will include the latest systems, processes and technology to create the blueprint for future BCA operations.
BCA has confirmed that Tony Booth, MD of BCA Fleet Solutions, will transfer from his current position to manage the project. Booth has many years of technical experience and has previously delivered similar projects for blue chip customers. He will report to BCA CFO Tim Lampert to deliver the new facility to specification, on-time and to budget.
BCA will announce details of Booth's replacement to lead the day-to-day business of BCA Fleet Solutions in the near future.
