The start point for the best source of fleet information

Chevin adds global support to FleetWave management tool

Date: 23 June 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Fleet software provider Chevin has added a number of global features to its FleetWave management programme to assist businesses that operate across borders.

As part of the update, currencies can now be shown in more than one way, which is claimed to help with fuel transactions. Customers are now able to view a transaction in the original currency, covert all transactions into a single currency or use a single reporting currency.

The tool automatically updates and takes into account local tax rates if needed, the company added.

Customisable fuel economy labels have also been introduced, which can calculate how much a vehicle pollutes; the labels are configured with region-specific values to indicate vehicles that are rated outside company emissions policies.

Multilingual support has also been introduced. Chevin says the software eradicates the need to manually translate words or phrases.

"True global fleet software like FleetWave can meet the challenges of global fleet management," said Ashley Sowerby, managing director of Chevin. "By using information from a wide variety of sources and locations to provide multilingual and multi-currency capabilities as well as regional metrics, it enables adherence to legal, regulatory, technological and environmental requirements in different geographic areas. With FleetWave, Chevin can help simplify every aspect of local and global fleet, asset and workforce management."
