CLM Fleet Management has announced the appointment of experienced automotive executive John Lawrence as its new managing director.
With over 23 years' experience in the automotive industry in roles encompassing daily rental, vehicle manufacturing, fleet services and technology, Lawrence plans to focus on managing logistics for customers, the SME market and enhanced support for driver services in the immediate future.
"We see CLM developing as a more technologically focused business and have exciting plans to develop the company, levering the scale of the wider Maxxia Group," he said. "We currently have about 15,000 vehicles under management but I see no reason why we cannot take that volume forward significantly over the next couple of years.
"Our objective will be to continue to delight our existing customers, who will continue to be at the heart of everything we do, but also to widen our appeal to fresh customers who do not necessarily appreciate the full benefits of outsourcing their fleets to us.
"We will also be looking at expanding our range of fleet-related services and we will see more investment in technology to help us achieve that. A key objective will be to take our customers on that journey with us so that they better understand the benefits that technology can deliver."
