FCA Fleet Services rebrands as Leasys UK

Date: 03 August 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Leasys, the contract hire and mobility arm of FCA Bank, has taken over the contract hire arm of FCA Fleet Services.

The Fiat-owned leasing company will be renamed Leasys UK. According to industry figures, the firm was the fastest-growing automotive leasing company in the UK last year.

The company has seen "rapid growth" in the last two years thanks to demand from the SME market as well as growth in its personal contract hire offering.

Roberto Bellavia has been appointed head of Leasys UK by Alex Hughes, managing director of FCA Bank Group. According to Leasys, Bellavia "brings with him several years of experience" in a contract hire company as well as in the manufacturing industry at international level.

Leasys was launched in 2001 as a joint venture between electricity distributor Enel and Fiat. Today, the company manages a fleet of more than 150,000 vehicles - including cars and vans - and targets large companies, SMEs, publicly-owned businesses and private organisations.

"The launch marks a further step change in the business, broadening its appeal across the UK fleet market, from pan-European corporate fleets, to serving the FCA dealer network and supporting businesses across the UK to find the right leasing solution," said Hughes.
