Hyundai Ioniq priced from £24,995

Hyundai has confirmed its Ioniq plug-in hybrid will cost from £24,995 including the government's £2,500 Plug-In Car Grant when it goes on sale later this month.
The plug-in is the third and final variant of the Ioniq range and joins pure-electric and hybrid versions, which are already on sale.
It is powered by a 105hp 1.6-litre petrol unit which is paired to a 61hp electric motor, with Hyundai claiming the vehicle is able to travel for up to 39 miles on electric power alone.
The plug-in hybrid emits 26g/km of CO2, placing it in the 9% Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) band for 2017/18.
Two trim levels are available - Premium and Premium SE. Standard equipment includes Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, wireless phone charging, rear parking sensors with a camera and an eight-inch touchscreen media system that incorporates a sat-nav.
Standard driver assistance systems include autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist and an individual tyre monitoring system.
Premium SE adds leather seat facings, an electronically-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, rain-sensing wipers, blind spot detection and front parking sensors.
Meanwhile, thanks to a tie-up with electric vehicle charging company Pod Point, a 7kW wallbox charging unit can be installed at the customer's house for £300, while the plug-in also comes with a charging cable which allows the car to be plugged into a domestic three-pin plug.

We anticipate keen interest from private buyers and fleet users alike, given the plug-in hybrid's great value pricing and low tax rates.
He added: "With CO2 emissions of just 26g/km, IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid is another milestone in extending the company's product range of low-to-zero emission vehicles, which is central to our sustainability strategy."
