Justin Costello promoted to lead true fleet sales at Seat

Date: 07 June 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Seat has promoted Justin Costello to the role of national fleet sales manager.

Costello - previously contract hire and leasing manager for the brand - will be responsible for driving true fleet sales for the company as it expands its vehicle range.

He will lead a team of seven area fleet managers and will report to the company's head of fleet and business sales, Peter McDonald.

According to Seat, its sales to fleet customers grew for the fourth year in a row in 2016, with further expansion expected as new models arrive in the UK.

Before joining Seat last May, Costello was a regional sales manager for parent company Volkswagen for two years. Prior to that, he worked at remarketing giant Manheim for three years as its sales planning manager.

"Seat is a brand I know very well and being part of it at such an exciting moment is both hugely rewarding and challenging," he said. "With the Leon still at the top of its game, the Ateca receiving acclaim from all quarters and the new-generation Ibiza just around the corner, Seat is extremely well positioned to continue to grow with both our existing fleet partners and by attracting new customers to the brand.

"Alongside introducing our new models and continuing to drive buoyant business sales, I am also looking forward to helping the team provide excellent service and innovative expertise and support to our fleet customers across the UK."

A replacement for Costello has not been announced at this stage.
