Kwik Fit Fleet changes fleet team as Peter Lambert retires

Date: 22 February 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Fast-fitting company Kwik Fit Fleet has announced changes to its fleet team following the decision of Peter Lambert, the company's fleet director, to retire at the end of March.

Lambert has led the fleet division for seven years and his retirement sees the recruitment of Andy Fern as fleet sales director and the promotion of Simon Lucas to the newly created role of customer support director.

Fern joined the business at the start of this month and will assume his role from April. He joins the company from Michelin, where he was most recently national fleet sales manager.

Lucas, meanwhile, currently holds the position of operations director and is responsible for the company's mobile tyre-fitting operation. He has spent 30 years in the fast-fitting industry, and joined Kwik Fit in 2004.

Both will report into Kwik Fit GB managing director Kenji Murai.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kwik Fit and I am pleased to say that I have accomplished everything that I set out to achieve. Kwik Fit Fleet has an excellent team with the potential to achieve great things in the future," Lambert said. "It is now time for me to move on and as one chapter closes I am looking forward to what will unfold in the next.

Murai added: "Peter has, during his time with Kwik Fit, improved the efficiency of Kwik Fit Fleet and he has built excellent customer relationships. His dedication and professionalism has undoubtedly enhanced our business and played a significant part in helping to develop our fleet mechanical proposition."
