The start point for the best source of fleet information

Ogilvie expands southern sales team

Date: 20 July 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Leasing and fleet management company Ogilvie has expanded its south of England sales team following growth in the region.

Sarah Craig and Lance Spencer have joined the company, which launched the sales team two years ago.

Craig joins the business from Daimler Fleet Management, where she held a new business and account management role for the southern region, while Spencer joins from the Toomey Leasing Group.

The team is led by director of sales Jo Clark, and is supported by sales managers Mike Wynn and Jamie Arkell.

Recently, the company has seen the number of vehicles on its books expand to 15,000 units as the firm targets a fleet of 20,000 vehicles within the coming years, with many of the client wins being attributed to its IT systems and customer service.

The company claims it has invested heavily in the driver and fleet management experience, with the result being a "string of awards", including being the first vehicle leasing and fleet management company to win a Fleeteye customer satisfaction index seven times in a row.

Ogilvie's MiFleet portal has also scooped several BusinessCar Techie awards over the last few years.

"Our fleet size continues to grow month-on-month and, while we have a desire to expand further, we are determined that growth will not be at the expense of our ability to deliver first-class levels of customer service," said Clark. "It is our industry-leading customer service supported by our innovative IT solutions that are underpinning current growth and will be the catalyst for future expansion."

She added: "We have immense capacity from our IT and technical capability to support fleet growth and now we have further expanded our sales team to deliver on our expansion ambitions."

Commenting on the expansion of the team, Clark said: "The continuing increase in our customer base coupled with significant new business signings has resulted in even greater demand from businesses to talk to Ogilvie Fleet about the range of solutions available, resulting in the further expansion of our sales team."
