The start point for the best source of fleet information

Ssangyong offers extended test-drive option for Tivoli SUV

Date: 17 May 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Ssangong has introduced 48-hour test drives for its Tivoli and Tivoli XLV SUVs.

According to the Korean manufacturer, the firm is introducing the extended test-drive option to allow customers to get to know the vehicle and experience what it is like on a day-to-day basis.

The offer runs until the end of September and the firm said everyone who takes part in the lengthened test-drive scheme will be given a £10 M&S voucher, while each participating dealer is offering the chance to win a car for a year.

"The Tivoli is one of the safest cars in its class," claimed Paul Williams, CEO of Ssangyong UK. "With a 48-hour test-drive you can really put the car to the test. We want potential customers to really get to know the Tivoli, and the usual quick test drive simply isn't long enough to experience what the car has to offer and how it could fit your life."

Ssangyong is not the first brand to introduce extended test-drive options. In March, Seat extended fleet test-drives up to four days.

Previously, fleets could only test-drive cars for up to 48 hours, but the company said the expanded time period will allow drivers to better asses the vehicles.

The announcement followed on from the firm offering four-day long test drives for its Ateca SUV from last October, and ties in with the firm's plans to increase its presence in the fleet sector.
