Tom Brennan appointed as new head of fleet sales at Audi

Date: 28 April 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Audi has appointed Tom Brennan as its new head of fleet sales with immediate effect.

Brennan replaces James Douglas who moved to head up sales for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles earlier this month.

Previously national contract hire and leasing manager for the German premium car brand, Brennan has held a number of roles in Audi's fleet team since 2013. Before that, he spent 10 years with Volkswagen Financial Services. He will report into head of Audi sales operations, Peter Brookes.

According to the premium carmaker, Audi currently holds the number one spot in the premium sector for true fleet sales, a position they are looking to further cement with this latest appointment.

"We don't find ourselves in this fortunate position by accident. It's the result of incredibly hard work by everyone in the fleet sales team, but also of outstanding leadership by James for which we are all very grateful," Brennan said. "I'm greatly looking forward to picking up the baton he carried so expertly and pushing us to even greater success in the years to come."

"I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Tom on his appointment. He has been an integral member of the sales operations team, playing a key role in supporting the brand's dominance in true fleet. He will be a fantastic addition to the leadership team," Brookes added.

Audi is yet to announce who will be filling Brennan's former position.
