The start point for the best source of fleet information

FleetCheck achieves information security standard

Date: 12 November 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Fleet software firm FleetCheck has announced it has been certified under the internationally recognised information security standard ISO 27001.

The standard specifies and audits processes intended to bring information security under clear and unambiguous management control.

FleetCheck managing director Peter Golding said: "The nature of the services we provide, which quite often include personal details and other sensitive data, means that information security is a subject that we take very seriously.

"Over the last year especially, we have been increasingly working with a number of major industry bodies and larger fleets, and they rightly demand the highest level of compliance in this area.

"Achieving ISO 27001 provides a strong baseline standard and, alongside the other measures we are undertaking, means that our rapidly-growing client base can rest assured that their information is protected with very high levels of control, auditing and security."

FleetCheck says it has signed up more than 200 new customers so far in 2018, bringing the total to more than 800, running around 80,000 vehicles between them.
