Vauxhall has introduced a new range-topping trim level for its Crossland X SUV.

Standard equipment with the new Ultimate trim includes an 8in touchscreen with sat-nav and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, leather seat facings, ergonomic heated active front seats, a heated steering wheel, 17in diamond cut alloy wheels, alloy-effect front and rear skid plates and silver-effect roof rails.

Standard safety systems include a driver drowsiness system, forward collision alert and autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

Available options include front and rear parking sensors, a Park and Go pack with features including advanced park assist, a Premium LED Lighting pack, and a panoramic glass roof with electric sunblind.

Two petrol engine options are available: a 1.2-litre with either 110hp or 130hp. The former comes with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, the latter as manual only.

Official combined fuel economy figures are 56.5mpg for the 110hp manual, 50.4mpg for the 110hp automatic, and 55.4mpg for the 130hp. While CO2 emissions figures are 109g/km, 127g/km and 118g/km respectively.
