Fleet management and leasing company CBVC has appointed Ashley Boaden as national sales manager.

Boaden has worked in the fleet industry for more than 18 years, and most recently spent a year as a new business sales manager for Daimler Fleet Management.

He has previously worked for Vauxhall, Northgate Vehicle Hire, Rybrook Group and JT Hughes.

His aim in his new role is to expand CBVC's footprint among larger fleets.

CBVC managing director Mike Manners said: "Ashley has the right level of expertise and connections to help us achieve ambitious growth plans.

"Having worked in corporate fleet management, with dealerships and motor manufacturers, Ashley is able to have a 360° view of the needs of the fleet department."

Boaden said: "Mike is very highly regarded in the industry and, having worked with him on various projects in the past, I have got to know the business quite well.

"I like the business's ethos and always felt that CBVC had something unique to offer, so I am glad that I have finally got the chance to work for the company, I truly believe in the proposition CBVC has to offer.

"CVBC is in a great position to have specialists in all aspect of fleet management and I can see many companies with fleets of between 100 and 2,000 vehicles that would benefit from such a high level of expertise."
