Date: 08 March 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Automotive data firm Cap HPI has appointed Jeremy Yea to its Black Book used car values team as editor.

Yea, who joins the business from a senior remarketing role at ALD Automotive, has more than 22 years of experience in the motor trade.

Cap HPI recently announced a restructuring of its Black Book team to provide a greater range of consultancy services.

The team analyses more than two million transactional data records from across the wholesale market, alongside more than five million retail adverts, each year.

The team of 11 will continue to manage daily adjustments to Black Book Live used car data and support customers with bespoke insight.

Yea said: "I join the industry leader at an exciting time in its development. I look forward to working with everyone at Cap HPI to support its diverse range of customers."

Derren Martin, head of current valuations at Cap HPI, said: "Jeremy brings a wealth of experience to the team.

"We are ramping up our expertise and analysis capability to provide enhanced editorial insight and remarketing consultancy.

"Our focus remains on combining industry-leading data and expert insight to help our customers make smarter automotive decisions."
