The start point for the best source of fleet information

CD Auction Group signs up for ICFM scheme

Date: 16 January 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

A vehicle remarketing firm has become the first from the sector to sign up to the ICFM Corporate Investor Programme.

CD Auction Group has joined the scheme, which aims to further raise the standards of fleet industry professionals and overcome a possible skills and knowledge shortage.

ICFM says the programme is designed to appeal to employers that provide products and services to fleets. Member businesses also become more closely involved in ICFM initiatives, which include training for employees, the organisation's annual conference, and master classes on key industry issues.

CD Auction Group, which has its headquarters in Northampton, has more than 28 years of experience remarketing and managing vehicles.

Managing director Andy Brown said: "We are delighted to be the first vehicle remarketing company to join the ICFM Corporate Investor Programme.

"The ICFM is a fantastic organisation for professional fleet managers to gain knowledge and network with their peers, and to advance their skills through the focused training the ICFM provides.

"CD Auction Group looks forward to getting involved with the members of the organisation and helping them get a greater understanding of the speed of change in the remarketing sector away from physical auction to online auctions, and how they can embrace that change to further improve returns for their business."

ICFM sales director Peter Eldridge said: "ICFM is delighted that CD Auction Group has recognised the value that ICFM can deliver through the Corporate Investor Programme and joined at affiliate level.

"We hope that many other businesses will clearly see the value-for-money benefits of membership, and the training and learning opportunities available, and then enrol their employees in the various courses and attend our events, whether that be the ICFM's annual conference or its master classes tackling key fleet decision-maker issues.

"Investment in ICFM adds credibility and value to businesses and their employees, and provides an invaluable network of contacts and benefits."
