DS names UK sales director

DS has announced the appointment of Rob Thomas to the newly-created role of UK sales director.
Thomas, who was previously sales director at Banque PSA Finance, started his career as a trainee sales executive in 1997 and had a varied career in motor retail before joining PSA Group in 2008. Previous roles include used vehicle operations manager at Robins and Day and head of regional operations for Citroen UK.
DS says the creation of the new role comes as it increases its UK presence with new product launches, an expanding dealer network and the Only You customer experience programme.
Thomas said: "I'm thrilled to be joining DS at this pivotal moment. I'm really looking forward to being part of the brand's continued development and future success.
"The recent arrival of the DS 7 Crossback - the first of the second-generation range of DS cars - will soon be joined by another key model due to be unveiled with a 100% electric version at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show in October."
