FCA announces senior management changes

Date: 14 August 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has shaken up its UK senior management team with five new appointments.

Iain Montgomery (pictured) has been named as sales director for Alfa Romeo and Jeep; Andrew Tracey is the new marketing director for Alfa Romeo and Jeep; James Marsh comes in as director of customer experience and commercial training; John MacDonald is appointed the new director of Mopar service, parts and customer care; and Lisa Ford has been hired as the managing director of Motor Village UK.

All will report to FCA UK managing director Arnaud Leclerc.

Montgomery is said to bring extensive experience from within the UK motor industry, having worked at the Volkswagen Group and BMW in numerous sales, aftersales and sales planning roles.

Tracey is said to have demonstrated an ability to lead change and deliver best practice, and will work with Montgomery to optimise the potential of Alfa Romeo and Jeep.

Marsh will head up a merger between two previously distinct departments, replacing Tim Head, who is leaving FCA to pursue other professional interests - though he will be working with Marsh to ensure a smooth transition.

MacDonald was previously responsible for Mopar in the Nordic region, and prior to that worked in the technical services team in the UK.

Ford joins FCA with experience working for firms including Mercedes-Benz, McLaren and Maserati.

Leclerc said: "I am delighted to announce these changes. They further support the organisation as we work towards our growth targets. I wish all five of the senior managers every success in their new roles."
