Fiat has announced new trim options for its 500 range of cars, with a focus on connectivity.

The 500 Mirror, 500X Mirror and 500L Mirror come with Uconnect LINK technology, which is Apple CarPlay-ready and compatible with Android Auto as standard.

Remote services and control functions are also available through Mopar Connect, which can perform functions including calling for accident assistance and alerting the operations centre if the vehicle is stolen.

The Uconnect system runs through a 7in touchscreen, with Bluetooth hands-free, audio streaming, text reader and voice recognition function, aux-in and USB ports with iPod integration, and controls on the steering wheel as standard.

The 500 Mirror city car is based on the Lounge trim, and available as a hatchback or convertible. It adds chrome mirror caps and 16in alloy wheels to the exterior, and is only available with the 1.2-litre 69hp petrol engine.

The 500X Mirror crossover is based on the Pop Star trim, but features satin chrome details, 17in matte black alloy wheels and Bi-Xenon headlights. It is available with a choice of two petrol engines - a 1.6-litre E-Torq with 110hp, or a 1.4-litre MultiAir with 140hp.

The 500L Mirror mini-MPV adds chrome details, chrome mirror caps and fog lights to the Pop Star spec, and is also available with a choice of two petrol engines - a 1.4-litre with 95hp, or a 1.4-litre T-Jet with 120hp.

Prices start from £13,965 for the 500 Mirror, £18,250 for the 500X Mirrorand £16,795 for the 500L Mirror.
