Jaguar Land Rover appoints new UK MD

Date: 29 May 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Jaguar Land Rover has named a new UK managing director as part of a managerial shake-up.

Rawdon Glover replaces Jeremy Hicks, who moves to become global market performance director for the firm.

Glover has 19 years of industry experience, having previously held senior director roles with Volkswagen Group, before joining Jaguar Land Rover in 2013 as global director for services.

He said: "I am delighted to be taking the role of managing director for Jaguar Land Rover UK at such an exciting time for the industry.

"There is so much opportunity to take advantage of with the advent of our electric revolution, alongside the introduction of exciting new vehicles and continued development of our retailer network. I can't wait to get started."

Hicks said: "It has been a privilege to help shape the future of Jaguar Land Rover in its home market during such a strong phase of growth and positive change.

"We have achieved so much over the past six and a half years and I have had the honour to work with a first-class team.

"I'm also delighted to be taking on this new global assignment at a time when we are seeking to capitalise on the many opportunities presented to us to develop our performance across the world."

Jaguar Land Rover has also announced a new corporate structure, with a new global commercial function covering customer experience, product marketing, market performance, customer service and planning, to take effect from 2 July.

Alongside Hicks in the market performance role, work in these areas will be led by Fiona Pargeter as customer experience director, Finbar McFall as product marketing director and Richard Shore as planning director, with all reporting to board member and COO Felix Brautigam.

Jaguar Land Rover has also announced that Bob Grace, currently regional operations director for Europe, will leave the business in the summer, and will be replaced by Dmitry Kolchanov, currently regional director for the overseas region.

In addition, Anthony Bradbury has been appointed as UK marketing director and Scott Dicken as UK sales director.

Helen McLintock, global corporate affairs director, will now report directly to Jaguar Land Rover CEO Dr Ralf Speth, and retain responsibilities for corporate affairs, government affairs and the firm's responsible business function.
