Jaguar XE Landmark Edition revealed

Date: 23 April 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Jaguar has introduced a new special edition to its XE saloon range.

The Landmark Edition is based on the existing R-Sport trim, but features exterior changes including a sport front bumper, body-coloured side sills and specially-designed 18in alloy wheels.

Gloss black detailing has been applied to the side window surrounds, door mirror caps, grille surround and side vents, with the latter also featuring Landmark badging.

Inside, Landmark-branded tread plates are added to the R-Sport interior specification.

Standard equipment includes xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors and a 10in touchscreen with sat-nav.

The Landmark Edition is available with the same selection of petrol and diesel engines available elsewhere in the XE range, with the exception of the 163hp diesel and 300hp petrol.

All the petrol engines are now equipped with particulate filters to make them cleaner.

The XE Landmark Edition is available to order now, with prices starting from £36,955.

Nick Rogers, executive director of product engineering at Jaguar Land Rover, said: "Our award-winning XE offers the agility and dynamic handling of a Jaguar, thanks to its advanced Integral link rear suspension with hollow-cast aluminium, alongside enhanced connectivity and best-in-class safety features like our pioneering autonomous emergency braking system.

"The Landmark Edition is offered with our Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, now with all-new calibration to improve acceleration and transient response, as well as the latest filter technologies, continuing our commitment to reduce vehicle emissions."
