New Toyota Corolla Touring Sports revealed

Date: 04 September 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Toyota has unveiled an estate version of its upcoming new Corolla small family car.

Toyota claims the Touring Sports - part of the new Corolla range set to replace the Auris early next year - will feature best-in-class rear legroom, along with 598 litres of boot space.

Exterior design features of the Touring Sports include flared wheel arches and full-LED rear light clusters.

Four optional bi-tone paint colour schemes will be available, pairing the chosen body colour with a black roof, pillars and lower front grille surround.

Engine options will be a 1.2-litre 115hp petrol and two hybrids - a 1.8-litre with 121hp and a 2.0-litre with 180hp.

Equipment available with the new model will include a head-up display, a JBL GreenEdge Premium sound system, wireless mobile phone charging and the Toyota Touch multimedia system.

The Corolla Touring Sports will make its debut alongside the hatchback at the Paris Motor Show on 2 October.

Prices and full specifications are yet to be revealed.
