Date: 11 May 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Mercedes-Benz has announced full UK prices and specifications for its facelifted C-Class.

Available in saloon and estate body styles, the revised C-Class is available to order now, with deliveries starting in July.

From launch, there is a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel. The most efficient petrol choice is a 1.5-litre unit, which produces 184hp, and is capable of achieving 46.3mpg on an official combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 136g/km, aided by mild hybrid technology.

The diesel engine is a 2.0-litre unit producing 194hp, which is capable of 61.4mpg on an official combined cycle and CO2 emissions of 117g/km.

The other petrol engine is a 390hp 3.0-litre available with the Mercedes-AMG C 43 performance model.

All models come as standard with nine-speed automatic transmission, while four-wheel drive is available as an option with the 1.5-litre petrol engine and as standard with the C 43.

Excluding the Mercedes-AMG car, three levels of trim are available - SE, Sport and AMG-Line.

The revised C-Class range gains technology including an optional 12.3in cockpit display and an improved optional Driving Assistance package.

Standard features on SE cars include autonomous emergency braking, a reversing camera and a 10.25in media display.

Sport trims add lowered suspension, LED headlights and sports seats, and the AMG-Line adds a number of sports styling features.

An optional Premium equipment line adds features including the new cockpit display, ambient lighting and the Comand Online infotainment system, while the Premium Plus line adds a Burmester surround sound system and panoramic sunroof.

An optional Airmatic Dynamic Handling package features air suspension.

Prices for the saloon start from £33,180 for a 1.5-litre SE model, while prices for the estate start from £34,380 with the same spec.
