Date: 20 August 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

A facelifted version of the MG3 supermini has been unveiled.

The revised car features a restyled front end with a prominent new grille and LED daytime running lights. Also, there is now an electronic tailgate switch at the rear.

Inside there's a new dashboard and steering wheel. The boot offers 285 litres of space.

Only one engine is available: a 1.5-litre petrol developing 105hp, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Prices for the new-look model start at £9,495 for entry-level Explore trim, rising to £11,395 for Excite and £12,795 for the range-topping Exclusive.

All models come with Bluetooth as standard, while the Excite and Exclusive specs get an 8in colour touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, DAB radio and steering wheel audio controls.

Exclusive trim also comes with a reversing camera.

There's also the option to request contrasting colour wing mirrors or add roof graphics.

The MG3 now also comes with a seven year/80,000 mile warranty.
