Styling and equipment changes for Audi A4

Date: 28 June 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Audi has announced a number of tweaks to its A4 range.

Changes have been made to the saloon and Avant estate models.

Cars in SE and Sport trims get styling revisions including a revised front and rear bumper design, more pronounced side skirts, a rear diffuser flanked by new look tailpipes and, on Avant models, a roof edge spoiler.

SE cars retain 17in wheels but with a new design, while Sport cars are upgraded to 18in wheels.

A4s in S Line and Black Edition trims get a new 3D-look grille, along with redesigned bumpers. S Line cars gain 19in wheels, a new diffuser and new-look tailpipes.

There have also been interior equipment upgrades, with SE trim A4s now coming with SD card-based MMI navigation, a 7in colour driver information display to replace the previous 5in monochrome version, and an upgraded multi-function steering wheel.

A4s in Sport trim gain four-way lumbar adjustment for the driver and front passenger seats.

S Line and Black Edition cars gain headlight high beam assist.

All trims gain automatically folding door mirrors.

Audi says prices for the revised A4 will be confirmed closer to when order books open later this summer, ahead of the first deliveries towards the end of 2018.
