Brake to hold fleet webinar on road safety leadership

A webinar offering advice on effective leadership for fleet professionals is to be held by road safety charity Brake.
The webinar, entitled Effective leadership for safe and healthy mobility in fleets, will take place on 8 May, coinciding with United Nations Global Road Safety Week which runs from 6 May to 12 May.
Held as part of Brake's Global Fleet Champions campaign, the webinar, sponsored by Lytx, will discuss: the importance and benefits of putting fleet safety first; what effective leadership looks like; what measures employers need to introduce for safe and healthy mobility; and how engaging with local communities and lobbying local and national governments can bring about road safety change.
The webinar is free to take part in, and places can be booked via the Global Fleet Champions website.
Brake senior fleet officer Sarah Plumb said: "Good leadership is pivotal in order to ensure fleet safety and sustainability.
"Business leaders have the power to prioritise and manage the safe and sustainable operation of any vehicles they operate, and governments have the power to regulate and enforce these safe and sustainable operations.
