ARI makes fleet leasing appointment

Date: 24 April 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

ARI Fleet UK has appointed Gareth Hanvey to the newly-created position of business development manager for fleet leasing.

The firm says Hanvey's appointment is part of a strategy to grow the business by moving further into the funding sector, in addition to its fleet management portfolio.

Hanvey, who has more than 15 years experience in the vehicle leasing and acquisition sector, will be consulting with customers about ARI's new flexible funding solutions, and helping to develop bespoke fleet management packages and terms for them.

He said: "It's very exciting to come to ARI, because the innovative funding solutions it offers are genuinely new and disruptive, and ARI works collaboratively and closely with its customers, rather than offering simple one-size-fits-all deals.

"Finance lease as a funding solution is not new, but ARI's application of it is. We are using incredibly accurate reporting technology and 'marginal gain' insights to create bespoke packages for every business, as well as allowing them to see and understand in real time all their costs throughout the lifecycle of the vehicles.

"By studying our customers' business plans and working structures, and matching the support and vehicles they need to those, we can build tailored leasing packages that suit every customer.

"I'm really looking forward to delivering these transformative new solutions and to be able to make demonstrable improvements to our customers' businesses."

ARI head of asset funding Rory Mackinnon said: "Bringing Gareth into the team illustrates our commitment to developing a consultative, customer-focused funding solution that is market leading and challenges the status quo."
