Enterprise opens new Glasgow branch with car club facility

Date: 27 August 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Rental firm Enterprise has opened its second Glasgow city centre branch.

The site in Tradeston is within walking distance of the existing city centre branch in Oswald Street, and is next to the subway station.

It is offering conventional car and van rentals, and also four Enterprise Car Club vehicles - two hybrid cars as well as two vans - available for 24-hour, on-demand hire.

Enterprise Scotland and Northern Ireland general manager Diane Mulholland said: "Enterprise now has seven rental branches in the Glasgow area, providing our customers, both individuals and businesses, with the right vehicle exactly when and where they need it.

"Adding Enterprise Car Club vehicles to the new Tradeston branch extends that service and enables people to access cars or vans at any time of the day or night.

""We're working hard to ensure people in Scotland and across the UK can get where they need to go with a minimum of fuss.

"Car clubs and daily rental are an important part of the growing range of mobility as a service services."
