Mazda supplies support vehicle to Combat Stress

Date: 23 December 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Mazda has supplied a support vehicle for use by veterans' mental health charity Combat Stress.

The Mazda6 Tourer has been wrapped with the charity's logo and its helpline number.

It plays a crucial role helping staff to deliver the charity's services, which include short-stay clinical treatment, a PTSD intense treatment programme, a peer support service and occupational therapy.

Combat Stress director of fundraising Robert Marsh said: "We're extremely grateful for the support we have from Mazda.

"The car is used as a pool car for meetings as well as being used at all our major and national special events throughout the year, which really helps to reduce costs.

"We can't thank Mazda enough for their support."

Mazda UK head of fleet Steve Tomlinson said: "The work of Combat Stress over the last 100 years has been truly phenomenal, and now with the Mazda6 Tourer as a support vehicle for the charity, we hope they are able to empower even more veterans to rebuild their lives."
