New group managing director for PSA brands

Date: 14 February 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

PSA Group has named a new group managing director for its Peugeot, Citroen and DS brands in the UK.

Alison Jones will take on the role on 1 April.

She joins PSA from Volkswagen, where she was most recently managing director of the brand's passenger car division.

She previously held a variety of management roles within Volkswagen Group, including group aftersales and customer quality director.

Jones is replacing Stéphane Le Guevel, who is being promoted to another position at PSA set to be announced at a later date.

Jones said: "I am delighted to be joining PSA Group. They are a progressive organisation in strategic thinking, products, services, and investments, determined to drive improving profitability, growth and customer service.

"This makes them well placed to both handle the challenges that our industry faces as well as capitalise on the opportunities, and I am excited by that potential and my new role within that."

PSA executive vice president for Europe Maxime Picat said: "I am delighted to welcome Alison Jones to PSA Group.

"Alison's experience and expertise will be key as we continue the implementation of our 'push to pass' strategic plan and tackle the challenges to come.

"I take this opportunity to thank warmly Stéphane for his five years of success at the helm of PSA Group in the UK."
