Facelifted BMW 7 Series revealed

BMW has unveiled an updated version of its 7 Series luxury saloon.
The most striking visual change is a significantly larger front grille, mounted on a front end that is around 50mm taller at its foremost point.
The 7 Series is available in standard and long wheelbase variants, both of which have been extended by 22mm over the preceding model.
Adaptive suspension, adjustable ride height, and the ability to configure the car's dampers between sport and comfort settings are all standard; while Integral Active Steering, which adjusts how much the car responds to steering inputs depending on its speed, is optional.
There's a range of six, eight and 12-cylinder engine options, along with a plug-in hybrid that pairs a 286hp petrol engine with a 113hp electric motor. The provisional combined fuel economy comes between 108.6mpg and 134.5mpg, and provisional CO2 emissions are between 48g/km and 52g/km.
The most economical conventional engine is a 265hp diesel, with provisional figures of 41.5 to 44.1mpg and 138g/km.
All engines come paired with eight-speed automatic transmission.
Standard driver assistance systems include active park distance control, reversing assistant and an around-view monitor. An optional feature is remote controlled parking, allowing manoeuvres to be triggered from outside the vehicle - after which the car will park itself under supervision.
On-board technology includes two 10in touchscreen rear seat entertainment displays, and a removable 7in Touch Command tablet that allows vehicle functions to be controlled from any seat and even from outside the vehicle.
Up front, there's a 12.3in driver information display and a 10.25in control display that is controllable by touch with a rotary controller, through steering wheel controls, by voice or by gesture.
The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which responds to voice commands following the prompt 'Hey BMW', is also standard.
The revised 7 Series goes on sale on 13 April. Prices start at £69,430 for the 265hp diesel, and rise as high as £138,935 for a 7 Series with a 6.6-litre, 585hp V12 petrol engine.
