The start point for the best source of fleet information

VWFS Fleet launches EV-4-Me? comparison tool

Date: 04 July 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Volkswagen Financial Services Fleet has introduced a new fuel type comparison tool.

EV-4-Me? guides drivers through a series of questions about their vehicle and needs, covering factors ranging from charge point availability to daily journey profiles.

It then issues advice on what fuel type would work best for that driver, with options including diesel, petrol, plug-in hybrid or full electric.

VWFS Fleet head of sales and marketing Tom Brewer said: "The rapid development of electric vehicles, coupled with ongoing uncertainty around the tax and legislative environment, means that there's a lot of confusion around who might be suitable for ultra-low emission vehicles.

"We want to assist drivers on their consideration journey, giving them all the information they need to make an informed decision. This will help fleet managers guide their drivers to discover whether an ultra-low emission vehicle could work for them.

"Ultimately, facts and evidence should drive the right decisions and where potential myths over charging infrastructure or range exist we will provide strong impartial advice."
