Peugeot has announced UK specs and prices for the SW estate version of its 508 upper-medium car.

Available equipment grades are Active, Allure, GT Line and GT, along with a limited run First Edition spec.

Standard kit with all 508 SWs includes: Peugeot's i-Cockpit with a 12.3in configurable instrument panel, autonomous emergency braking, speed limit recognition and Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.

Other standard equipment with the entry-level Active grade includes: 17in alloy wheels, sat-nav, electric driver's seat-base and lumbar adjustment, automatic headlights and DAB radio.

Allure grade adds: active suspension, active blind spot detection, automatic high beam, keyless entry and start, a 10in touchscreen, electric driver and front passenger seats, and a reversing camera.

Further equipment with GT Line grade includes self-levelling headlights, and interior lighting and engine note customisation.

GT grade - the regular range-topper - adds: adaptive cruise control, lane positioning assist, a Focal premium speaker system, Nappa Mistral full grain leather seat trim and 19in diamond-cut two-tone alloy wheels.

The UK will get 75 First Edition cars, which on top of GT spec, feature a night vision system, a 360 degree parking camera and fully automated parking assistance.

Engine options are a 1.5-litre diesel with 130hp, 2.0-litre diesels with 160hp or 180hp, and 1.6-litre petrols with 180hp or 225hp.

The 130hp diesel comes with either six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, while the rest of the engines are auto only.

CO2 emissions figures are: 104g/km-106g/km for the 130hp diesel manual; 101g/km-104g/km for the 130hp diesel auto; 119g/km-122g/km for the 160hp diesel; 124g/km for the 180hp diesel; 125g/km-127g/km for the 180hp petrol; and 132g/km for the 225hp petrol.

Range prices start at £26,845 for an Active 130hp diesel manual, and rise as high as £40,944 for a First Edition 180hp diesel auto.

Orders are open now, with deliveries due to start in July.
