Skoda Octavia Sportline revealed

Date: 26 March 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Skoda has added the Sportline equipment grade to its Octavia family car range.

The Octavia Sportline is available as a hatchback or estate, and joins previously-launched Sportline variants of the Karoq and Kodiaq SUVs and Superb upper-medium car in the Skoda range.

The Octavia Sportline gets exterior styling touches including a gloss black front spoiler, grille, door mirrors and rear diffuser insert, while the hatch also gets a gloss black rear spoiler.

There are 18in alloy wheels in black with silver details, and full LED headlights with adaptive front light system and LED daytime running lights.

Inside there are sport seats and upholstery, a black headlining and three-spoke leather multi-function steering wheel.

The Sportline's standard kit list is based on the SE equipment grade, but with additions including an 8in touchscreen with sat-nav and integrated wi-fi, one year of Skoda's Infotaiment Online service, light assistant and a rain sensor.

There are two engine options: a 1.5-litre, 150hp petrol, with either six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission; or a 2.0-litre, 150hp diesel which is auto only.

Prices start from £23,870 for a petrol manual hatch, and rise as high as £27,860 for a diesel estate.

Orders are open now, with the first deliveries expected in April.
