Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe specs and prices confirmed

The new Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe has opened for order in the UK.
There is a choice of three equipment grades - AMG Line, AMG Line Premium and AMG Line Premium Plus - and four petrol engines.
Standard equipment with AMG Line cars includes: the MBUX multimedia system with 'Hey Mercedes' voice activation; a 10.25in digital touchscreen; a 7in digital cockpit display; sat-nav; DAB radio; LED headlights; privacy glass; two-zone climate control; keyless go; smartphone integration including Apple Carplay and Android Auto; wireless charging; heated front seats; active lane keep assist; and speed limit assist.
AMG Line Premium adds a 10.25in digital cockpit display, augmented sat-nav, a dash cam, ambient lighting, a rear armrest and keyless entry.
AMG Line Premium Plus adds further equipment including a panoramic sliding sunroof, multibeam LED headlights, adaptive highbeam assist and front memory seats.
Options under the bonnet are 1.3-litre petrols producing 136hp or 163hp, and 2.0-litre petrols producing either 190hp or 224hp.
All come with a seven-speed automatic gearbox, with a manual option set to arrive later, while four-wheel drive is available as an option with the 190hp engine.
Official combined fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures are: 47.9mpg and 123g/km for the 136hp engine; 47.9mpg and 124g/km for the 163hp engine; 41.5mpg and 139g/km for the 190hp engine with two-wheel drive; 40.4mpg and 149g/km for that engine with four-wheel drive; and 41.5mpg and 139g/km for the 224hp engine.
Diesel engines are set to join the range later this year.
Prices for the range start at £30,550 for a 136hp AMG Line, and rise to £37,455 for a 190hp AMG Line Premium Plus with four-wheel drive.
The first deliveries of the new CLA Coupe are expected in the summer.
