CD Auction Group appoints buyer development manager

Date: 09 May 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

CD Auction Group has named Paul Barnes as its new buyer development manager.

In his new role, Barnes will work across both CD Auction - which remarkets ex-fleet vehicles from corporates, leasing companies and rental companies - and CD Salvage Auction - which remarkets vehicles classed as total loss salvage, accident damage-repairable, and with mechanical failure.

His previous experience includes senior manager roles at Tesco Cars and Copart.

Barnes said: "CD Auction Group, especially in recent times, has grown rapidly with its customer-focused approach.

"Throughout my career I have honed my skills in customer service, business development, leadership and creativity, and will continue to do so at CD Auction Group.

"What appealed to me was the scope to further develop the role and I am looking forward to increasing the buyer base and the number of vendors the business works with."

CD Auction Group managing director Andy Brown said: "Paul brings great knowledge and expertise to the role and has a proven record of success in vehicle remarketing.

"Covering both CD Auction and CD Salvage, I believe he'll be able to ensure we develop our buyer base as we grow our vendor base and business volumes offering a great selection of vehicles - both clean and salvage - to our buyer base."
