Peugeot 508s join Maxxis fleet

Date: 13 November 2019   |   Author: Sean Keywood

A fleet of 12 Peugeot 508s has been adopted by tyre manufacturer Maxxis Tyres for use by its UK field sales team.

The new 508s are in the fastback bodystyle, and a mix of Allure and GT Line equipment grades.

Maxxis is said to have chosen the 508 because it meets requirements for fuel economy, low emissions, comfort, suitability for work and home use and attention to design detail.

The cars were supplied through John Grose Peugeot in Ipswich.

Maxxis UK managing director Derek McMartin said: "We are very happy with our new fleet of Peugeot 508s; these cars meet our needs in terms of fuel efficiency, good value for money and comfortable all-round vehicles.

"Our team members use the cars for work and for home and find that they excel no matter what is asked of them in the normal course of business and personal use."

Peugeot, Citroen and DS fleet director Martin Gurney said: "A global tyre brand could obviously have chosen any car for its field sales team and we are proud that Maxxis has chosen the 508."
